第二十三屆世界童軍大露營

The Jamboree returned to Japan at Kirara-hama, Yamaguchi Prefecture, under the theme "Wa: A Spirit of Unity."

The 23rd World Scout Jamboree was held from July 28 to August 8, 2015, at Kirara-hama in Yamaguchi Prefecture, Japan. This event brought together approximately 34,000 Scouts and leaders from 155 countries, making it a truly global gathering under the theme “Wa: A Spirit of Unity.” The theme “Wa,” which means harmony, unity, and peace in Japanese, encapsulated the spirit of the event, focusing on the importance of global cooperation and cultural exchange.

第二十三屆世界童軍大露營於2015年7月28日至8月8日，在日本山口縣的吉拉拉濱（Kirara-hama）舉行。這次盛會以主題「和：團結的精神（Wa: A Spirit of Unity）」為核心，吸引了約34,000名來自155個國家的童軍與領袖參加，成為真正具有全球規模的童軍聚會。主題中的「和（Wa）」在日語中代表和諧、團結與和平，象徵活動精神的核心價值——強調全球合作與文化交流的重要性。

The Jamboree featured a wide range of activities designed to enhance cultural understanding, environmental awareness, and global citizenship. Key activities included the Global Development Village, which provided workshops on global issues such as disaster mitigation, peace, and environmental sustainability. Participants also had the opportunity to visit the Hiroshima Peace Memorial, where they learned about the devastating impact of nuclear weapons and the importance of peace. Other activities included water sports, science workshops on robotics and energy, and cultural exchanges through the “Crossroads of Culture” program.

大露營安排了多樣化的活動，旨在增進文化理解、環境意識與全球公民精神。其中的重點項目包括「全球發展村（Global Development Village）」，提供關於災害防減、和平與環境永續等全球議題的工作坊。此外，參加者還有機會前往廣島和平紀念公園（Hiroshima Peace Memorial）參訪，深入了解核武對人類造成的毀滅性影響，並體會和平的重要。其他活動還包括水上運動、機器人與能源科學工作坊，以及「文化十字路口（Crossroads of Culture）」計畫中的文化交流體驗。

The opening ceremony was a spectacular event, marked by vibrant performances and speeches that emphasized the Jamboree’s theme of unity and the importance of working together to address global challenges. The event also included a symbolic visit to Hiroshima, where Scouts commemorated the 70th anniversary of the atomic bombings, reinforcing the Jamboree’s focus on peace and reconciliation.

The 23rd World Scout Jamboree in Japan was a celebration of Scouting’s global community, offering young people from around the world the chance to learn, grow, and forge lasting friendship.

開幕典禮氣氛熱烈壯觀，結合了充滿活力的表演與激勵人心的致詞，呼應了「團結」的主題與共同面對全球挑戰的理念。活動中特別安排的廣島和平之旅具有象徵意義，童軍們在此紀念原子彈轟炸七十週年，強化了大露營對和平與和解的重視。

整體而言，第二十三屆世界童軍大露營是一次全球童軍共同體的盛大慶典，讓世界各地的青年在學習、成長與交流中建立深厚的友誼，體現了童軍運動「和平、友愛、團結」的核心精神。
